City Council Chairman's Chambers
Architectural Woodwork Restoration
The project encompassed the restoration of the architectural woodwork within the chairman’s Chambers. This involved meticulous hand scraping of the old finishes on various elements such as paneling, fireplace, windows, and doors. All existing finishes were carefully removed, with bowed panels being expertly repaired. Doors and transoms necessitating new dutchman were seamlessly integrated to harmonize with the existing graining. Additionally, new paneling elements were meticulously crafted and seamlessly integrated, followed by a thorough staining and clear coating of the entire suite.
